The BIG P !!

I was going through archives of my chats and mails in my accounts, which shot me to those lovely reminiscence....most of the mails were from the one and only intelligent dumbo on Earth...although I am very dreadful to write this post but somehow gathered enough courage to go with this brave act...the moment she reads all this I am as dead as a chick in tandoori chicken !!

At times if I sound philosophical or weird and you feel that....'this guy is sounding like Navjot siddhu in his pink tie and shorts , who has just realized that freedom of speech is our constitutional right and is using it to its worst '. Then better leave...Its not for you , but for the someone who is the subject of this post, someone who is very fond of spicy noodles, John Abraham, purple colour and tragic songs, someone who has more testimonials on her orkut than scraps, the someone who is a living wikipedia on C/C++ with short height, spects, and a cute giggling sound that can leave you dead...mhh mhh mhh (it more of sounds like hiccups at fast pace ) !!! she is or perhaps has been my best friend, I decided to dedicate few kilobytes of my blog to her and my friendship with her, so let me introduce you to the protagonist of this post...."The BIG P"...as she likes her to be called with....but I call her "GADHI".

This was my first venture in friendship...I don't even remember since when did she become my friend, I guess even much before I learnt to spell 'friend'. In one phrase she is the definition for 'friendship' to me. The story begins when we were in pre school classes sitting on same bench appearing for a class test, my dearest friend started to write with the worst fonts possible by hands , as she first wrote 'P' on the top of her answer sheet, I simply copied the same on my sheet, soon she wrote 'A' so did I, then 'L', 'L', 'A', 'V', I' followed, me too copied the entire set of characters in extra large fonts that we used in the darkest shades of gray possible by pencil, It was not very late that I realised its her name...."oh shit....that means my name gotta be there", I was intelligent enough to erase it and write my name instead, there after I followed her scribbling for the rest of the test :) !! I know you all would appreciate my height of intelligence and presence of mind but that was all I had in those days, anyways that was the time of pre schools...and by now I believe my brain muscles have developed a lot more than her's....isn't it pallavi !!

I remember her mom used to come with her blank copies to my home to get her incomplete work done but all she could get was another blank copy...."pal ishme meli koi galti nahi thi, muje toh naa yeh gadhi likhne hee ni detee ti aul naa khud liktee ti....". is ladki ne meri aisi aadat bigaadi ki aaj tak koi copy complete nahi rakh pata...no matter how hard I try....then there was a time when our class sections got changed and don't know for what the hell reason we became aliens to each other...I guess the ego or the fear of becoming the subject of those teen years gossip chit chats among class mates kept us like strangers for about 9 yrs, In midst of this long gap I tried to speak to her on many occasions but every time I failed. Finally one day in class 11, I broke the silence by asking for her assignment copy to complete mine....n this time she had an up to date assignments...the only common thing was her handwriting that was the same as in kindergarten like a chhipkali with ink dipped feet allowed to run through all the pages, who would like to copy the notes from a notebook written in chinese but for the sake of a last call to my lost friendship I tried it...finally I was glad to find that nothing had changed neither she nor our friendship...after this was the time when I got to realize that "yaaron dosti badi hi haseen hai, Yeh na ho to kya fir, bolo yeh zindagi hai, Koi to ho raazdaar, begaraz tera ho yaar....".

we are still very good friends but somewhere deep down the bonds have become weaker...from my end I guess I've lost my dumbo again but she denies it...I believe that friendship is like the relation between hand and eyes, when the hand gets hurt the eyes cry and when eyes cry the hand wipes, our friendship has been a fluctuation between and sometimes beyond crests & troughs of altercations and harmony...many a times I feel as if the eyes are crying but there are no hands to wipe....miss you dear...wish I could return to the same KG classes where there was no tension of assignments, no tiffs, no egos, no worries of class tests(at least for me) and sit beside my intelligent dumbo !!!

is this engineering !!

its 5'o clock morning....was studying control system my next paper now its on day after today so what would an engineer do after reading a book on some crap subject known as control engineering after which he has lost the control on himself...yes he will abuse the people responsible for his predicament on his blog. First of all can anybody justify me what the f..k an electronics n comm. engg. student has to do by knowing "why can't we use petrol in diesel engines?"... are me bolta hoon tu toh ghaaslate daal de isme mere sasur ka kya jaa raha hai. I am really gonna kick that uncle who thinks us as idiots who will go to a fuel pump asking to fill their bike with diesel. Even the girls who give right indicator and turn to left know that scooty pep runs on petrol. (disclaimer: this is not a generalised concensus, so plz girls don't take it as an offence to the intelligence of womenhood and start a nari aandolan against me). I think it could have been more precise to its respective streams...like there is no need for a sanitation engineer to know how the hell a bulb glows in the toilet, let him be acquainted with flush and commodes.
The best part of doing BE(don't knnow abt other courses) is that you learn to be awakened for the entire night reading something as worse as a book by Michael Jackson on Caring Children. I have been suffering from night-insomnia since I joined the college, but in all its a fun to be a part of BE.

IIM-I ...strings of inspiration

still mesmerised...just came from a concert by pakistani band Strings at IIM-Indore, n let me admit that they are a charm to hear...they created an absolute consonance with the splendid aura of IIM....the best of the moments was when their lead guitarist struck the cords of his bass guitar in the midst of "dhaani" to produce "sare jahan se achha, hindustan humara...." in a rock style...that was fabulous.

There was something that rocked even harder than strings...."Bhartiya Prabandhan Sansthaan, Indore" as it was written at the entrance. The place was like a powerhouse generating a million volt surge actuating a fascination towards itself. I wish this urge continues till the moment I really make it to one of them. I guess this trip would act as a catalyst in my CAT preparations.....n finally one day I would be able to enter in an IIM not with a concert pass but with my own IC...(touch wood).

"Five people you meet in heaven"..is there a better book than this ?

can somebody beat this record...sleeping till 4:30 pm right from the morning....had my breakfast today at 5:00 pm...wow !!!..Guinness guys take a note of this. I guess you must be wondering what was I doin for the whole night then....as engineers say during the exam days "kuch nahi yaar bas padh raha tha" even if they were reading the labels on vodka bottles and statuary warning on cigarette packs.....anyways there was a blunder more than this...just for the sake of bit relaxation from all those routers, repeaters, and switches beeping in my intestine...I started with the opening paragraphs of a book called "Five people you meet in heaven" by Mitch Albom n the rest was assasination of my precious (coz of exams) 7 hrs...I couldn't lay my hands off that book till I finished with reading the acknowledgements on the last page.

Let me tell you that this book is awesome, full of beathtaking moments , infact I would recommend you to sit with an oxygen cylinder at hand and also a towel if you have a emotional quotient even as poor as my semester grades. I must say this one is the best book I ve ever come accross till date apart from those books of common interest among boys in my high school...anyways I would say this one as a must read for everyone. I have become an Air Conditioner of Mitch Albom after reading it.
I even saw the movie based on this book but I enjoyed the book more than the movie. I am desperate to read his another book " Tuesdays with morrie", ve heard a lot abt it and hope it comes up to the mark.

bombay rockers!!

went today to a live performance by bombay rockers....generally i dislike goin to such shows but on my frns request and free passes I agreed for it....after coming home am feeling as if I've just survived a bomb blast...i can still feel a high pitch whistling sound echoing in my auditory canal. Except a couple of numbers the entire show was like listening to a pair of guys kicked from the top of eiffel tower with their entire orchestra falling and yelling for help....the only thing good about the show were the beautiful and extra beautiful girls who came to watch them....i guess they were the real rockers :) !!

gotta study now...have exams from 30th this month...need to score better than my last exams....this one is the last exams before our campus placement starts so cant take any chances this time.

Om Shanti Om.....

Twice by now...first time i went to see om shanti om for Deepika Padukone and second time to see Deepika padukone again....i even had an option of watching saanwariya but i got to know that the projectionists association have called for a strike demanding saanwariya to be ripped off the screens otherwise they have threatened to file a petition calling it as an emotional harassment amounting to mental breakdown. One of my friends who went to see saanwariya said that he had to leave the movie in between coz his virginity was at risk as he was the only man sitting in the hall, the rest all were gals and gays getting excited on watching the first ever towel dance on celluloid by a hero..the last I remember was kajol dancing in the classic DDLJ singing "mere khwabo me jo aaye....". I guess this one is the lowest budget movie by SLB. It was clear from the dark ambience throughout the movie that he dint' even had to pay the electricity bills. anyways plz dont drop ur plans if you were going to watch this movie after reading my blog...mai nahi chahta ki mere wajah se kisi ka (SLB) koi nuksaan ho.

lets get to something that I have been as interested as having neem ke paraathe with kerele ki chutni and machhi ka achaar sitting on a hotplate trying to digest it. you all are right who guessed that I am talking about EXAMS n STUDIES. yes its exam which is approaching as fast as a hungry bear to a non-veg restaurant....its just a week away from now, and neither I've prepared the chits nor washed my socks in which i'll carry them....u c lot of things to do... enough of writing this crap....its 3'o clock dont know what to call it morning or night sab so chuke hain ab main bhi jaata hoon nahi toh meri landlordlady kahin raat ko uth gayi toh kya sochegi "hai re daiyya...itni raat ko ae ladka campootar pe pata ni ke dekh riya hae...". n haa all of you plzz wish me good luck !! i desperately need it to escape from the checking squad :) .

the bihar trip...

This post is coming after sooooooooooooooooo looooooooooooooong gap...is'nt it.but kya kare thoda busy tha yaar....aur vase bhi mere post ko padhta hi kaun hai..accept me n the google search engine to add it in their index....so what have i been doin so long except refreshing orkut home page for hours to find the new scrap coming and watching next door girls talking for hours on their cellphones( i can guess from their long smiles that they must be suggesting close-up toothpaste to their boyfriends so that they have a fresh breath wen they meet her next time )....apart from all these constructive jobs, to mention i won second prize (Rs 7000.) in a national level paper presentation contest.....clap..clap!!! thnaku...thnaku so much.

I had an incredible India's bihar trip this dusshera vacations and on coming back i would recommend you all to keep away from it....untill bihar is the last place on earth left after a nuclear holocoust or unless shilpa shetty personally requests you to accompany her for a date at chhapra. The day you even see bihar in your morning dream, you should go n jump in the nearest water bottle you find...the roads in this state appears as if it has been struck by a 99.99 richter scale earthquake followed by a tsunami and finally the pakistani air force attack, in which they have dropped all the bombs ever made in pakistan on the roads of bihar...i guess its the best place you would find on earth for a disaster management course. The only difference being is that the disaster isn't natural but political as well as far more devastating...any ways I think the credit goes to may be the huge credit card bills of Mrs.Rabri's cosmetic range from L'Oréal and sarees from Versace.
Jokes apart the sadest part of Bihar is not only the pathetic roads, niether the poor health services, nor the transformers and cables waiting for electricity...its the slaughter of innocent childhood at the hands of poor administration, poverty and lack of education....moreover its the death of the hope on which we believe that may be things will improve some day. People don't understand that how could things get better if the juvenile shoulders have to carry stack of hay instead of school bags. Even Angulimaal would drench out of compassion on watching the tender hands of kids with painful bruises. I wish if i could do somthing...and i promise i will if destiny permits me in times to come.

Thoda serious ho gaya tha na...kya karu aisa hi hoon main...khair lets return back from bihar and hope that somday Melinda Gates reads my blog and opens a MACRO chain of schools with WINDOWS.
since this post comes just after diwali so how cud i forget diwali...I went to celebrate my diwali with my mom n dad at vindhyanagar...but to say it was n't so good this time not only because all the murga chhap crackers turned out to be fake some of the rockets could'nt even fly out of the bottle and secondly i was missing my extra large friend circle...for me diwali is not more than a get together of old school buddys n fighting for every silly reason one can think of...how dare you asked for pencil from kunju in class II, she was mine you @#&^^!!
happy diwali !!
