hooo haaa India ....haar gaya India!!!!

"Pathetic" the only word that comes in my mind with todays performance. Finally the Indian team is out of the world cup' 07. The entire country was yelling "hooo haaaa..." at last the team India answered "tere mooh me choooha....". They have proved again that they are good for nothing except shouting slogans for cola companies. The entire dictionary falls short of words when it comes to douse the the fire of anger against the performance by Indian team today. Apart from shattering the billion hopes the cricket team has flushed off millions of $ at stake with them by their sponsors , and other companies. By the end of the match every Indian was praying for miracle to happen. I wish I could call krrish or shaktiman to help the team India , but both of them were busy with their latest comic. none of the astrological predictions, havans, offering at temples, could earn with even a ray of hope of winning.

We all can write a comprehensive detailed analysis of the match, by now aajtak and other news channels must have prepared the hit list for tomorrows prime time shows. The important question is "who is responsible for the loss?" The answer is we the foolish fans. The basic fact is we have blown up cricket and cricketers totally out of proportion.Have you ever wondered why the loss in tennis, hockey,Olympics etc doesn't matter to us, just because we consider them as mere games but cricket has become a religion, faith, hope, belief for our countrymen. The loss of faith really creates a deep sense of pain. The time now is to draw the cricket back to the position of a game.

By tomorrow thousands of articles , blogs , protests, questions , allegations etc will be launched, but do we learn any thing from these? the answer is a big NO, the same Indian guy after torching the effigy of cricketers tomorrow will be seen back in the que to buy the tickets of the next multiangular series. The basic problem with humans is that we have a very volatile memory. May it be a Victory or loss we don't remember it for long.
